The Gallery is already established as one of Perth’s most prestigious venues for hosting corporate dinners and cocktail soirees for 8 to 800 people, and this year we invite you to host your corporate end of year and celebratory events in conjunction with a stunning international exhibition, Peggy Guggenheim: A Collection in Venice.
Featuring artists such as Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, René Magritte, Piet Mondrian, Constantin Brancusi, Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock, the artworks will both inspire and excite your guests while they are able to wander exclusively through the exhibition during your private function.
To further enhance your guests’ experiences, The Art Gallery’s Volunteer Gallery Guides are available to provide background knowledge and information to your guests within the exhibition in an informal and engaging manner.
The Gallery’s main event space, the Concourse, can accommodate a wide range of functions, from a long table dinner for 12 guests, to a corporate cocktail party for up to 800 guests. This soaring and impressive space is surrounded by galleries showing works from the State Art Collection, as well as being adjacent to the Peggy Guggenheim: A Collection in Venice exhibition.
Along with the Concourse, functions may also be held in the historic Centenary Gallery spaces, the Centenary Gallery 5 and Foundation Boardroom. These spaces provide an ideal venue for a more intimate dinner within a traditional, yet beautiful, surrounding. The Centenary Gallery 5 is generally used as an exhibition space and is made especially available for hire during the period of this exhibition. With its ornate ceiling and wooden floorboards, this room suits corporate dinners for up to 70 guests or a cocktail function for 80. Also available for daytime hire, this space would be very suitable for an elegant and unique breakfast or lunch function, or a daytime workshop followed by an inspiring tour of the Gallery’s artworks.
